Letter from Yoshida Akari to Matsuda Shiori for Shiori’s graduation stage

To Shiori.

The first time we talked to each other was on the night bus last year to Tokyo Matsuri right? At that time Shiori had long hair, and your height was the same as mine, even our taste in lesson and casual clothing was the same. I thought that both of us had many similarities, so I automatically made you my rival, that’s why I was unable to talk to you.

But, during our first conversation on the night bus to Tokyo Matsuri, while we were eating at a service area, when I saw Shiori eating collagen udon, even though I did not know why, but I felt that I would definately be able to become good friends with her.

To Akari, the times spent together with Shiori was very fun, I am able to show my true self in front of Shiori. When that sort of Shiori decided to graduate this time, I really tried very hard to stop her, I want to be together with Shiori in NMB48. But, unlike the Shiori who was distressed whether or not to stop NMB48 activities, after her decision was made, I could see that there was no hesistation on Shiori’s face this time. But, it’s expected that I couldn’t imagine a Team N without Shiori, was it just a prank? I thought. That’s why when she announced her graduation, I really couldn’t stop my tears. But, when I saw how refreshing Shiori’s face was after her graduation announcement, I thought, this was fine.

Even though this time Shiori has graduated, us twins will always be twins. We would not disband no matter what anyone says. Also, I want to hurry up and eat nabe and the bedrock bath as promised. After which, I want to quickly meet up soon and go to the amusement park, karaoke, movie theatres, sleepover and shopping as well. 

And to everyone who supported us twins, Akari’s happiest moment is when she hears the line “this is the best 2 people combination”. That’s why if you continue to like us UZA twins forever, I would be very happy. I’m really glad that I was able to meet Shiori.
